Reconciliation Sunday 2012

It was agreed in November 2006 that the Presbytery establish Reconciliation Sunday in Reconciliation Week(27 May to 3 June) annually, to be celebrated across the Church, and request Church Councils to include this day in their worship calendars.

In 2012 Reconciliation Sunday will be on Pentecost Sunday,
27th May. Worship Resources for 2012 will reflect a Pentecost theme and are now available for downloading from this page. Additional resources may be available later so please come back.

Feel free to copy, all or part of these resources in planning worship for this day. They may also be used later during NAIDOC week celebrations (Sunday 1 July 2012) if this fits in better with your worship planning. Resources from previous years may also be downloaded.

The 2012 resources include:
1. A complete order of service.
2. Some material for consideration when sermon writing..
3. General information on the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress and Covenanting.
4. Suggested hymns and a children's activity.
5. The Lord's Prayer in language.
